“Dr.Brun was very friendly and informative. He took the time to explain the organs and area were my complaint was so I could fully understand what might be occurring, he also prescribed the medication he felt was best to treat my condition and explained how the medication would work. I felt like he was completely trustworthy and I left the visit feeling confident that my issue would be resolved in his care and felt better with much less anxiety. 10/10 highly recommend! ”

About Dr. Alexander Brun
Dr. Alexander Brun is a patient-oriented and dedicated doctor who specializes in colon cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic abdominal pain, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease and diseases of the liver and pancreas. He obtained his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency training in Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was elected as outstanding resident of the year. Dr. Brun served as chief gastroenterology fellow at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System, which is where he completed his gastroenterology training. Dr. Brun is now an attending at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He has published in numerous medical journals and gastroenterology textbooks on topics ranging from gastrointestinal bleeding to geriatric gastroenterology. He and his staff speak English, Spanish and Russian.
