About Dr. Alexander Gart
Dr. Alexander Gart graduated from the esteemed Moscow Medical School in 1984 and was trained in general, vascular, and cardiac surgery. He worked at the Moscow Institute of Transplantology and Artificial Organs and participated in one of the first Russian heart transplants.
He moved to the US and successfully completed residency in general surgery and fellowship in vascular surgery. He joined the faculty of Columbia University Department of Surgery in 2003 and is currently the Director of Endovascular Intervention at Lincoln Hospital.
Dr. Gart specializes in a wide range of vascular problems, including minimally invasive and surgical treatment of peripheral vascular disease, aortic aneurysm, and carotid artery disease. His area of special interest is venous insufficiency and varicose vein disease. Dr. Gart is board certified in general and vascular surgery. He is a member of prestigious American medical associations, such as the American College of Surgeons, the Society for Vascular Surgery, and the American Venous Forum.
Dr. Gart has been a physician at USA Vein Clinics for five years and enjoyed tremendous success. He offers a range of minimally invasive and non-surgical vein and vascular treatments at our vascular center in Bensonhurst, New York.

The Doctor was amazing .. Great listener.. Knowledgeable.. Workers downstairs were being lazy when it came down to patients needs or concerns it was like they didn’t want to work at all.. It was three workers and not one had any clue what their tasks were.. Anywho beside that the Doctor and the doctor assistant was amazing .. Very knowledgeable ??.. great listener

I was pleased with my first visit to the clinic. Dr. Alexander Gart is very attentive and knowledgeable, with excellent bedside manner. He is very experienced in the field and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. The office staff and an ultrasound technician were very friendly and courteous. Sign-in process was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this doctor to my friends and family.

When I book my appointment it was all good within a few minutes later, I get a call saying I need to change my date and time I did for the 19th I gotta call saying I need to change it.I said no the doctor is available on these day I double check on Zocdoc.I’m tired of this run around would like to have appointment on the day I pick.
