Our founding physician, Dr. Alexander Osowa, has been in the medical field for over 20 years and specializes in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. He opened the doors of Buford Family Practice on July 17, 2006, to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for all patients. Dr. Osowa graduated from Nigeria’s Premier College of Medicine at the University of Ibadan before completing an internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and then completed his residency at Grand Island Nebraska St. Francis Medical Center in 2005. A year later Dr. Osowa relocated to East Carolina University College of Medicine and specialized in Geriatrics. Dr. Osowa is board-certified in both Family and Geriatric Medicine. He lives with his family in Suwanee, Georgia and enjoys spending his free time reading, biking and swimming with his children.
