About Dr. Alexander Smith
Dr. Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte (UNCC), and his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport (UBCC). While at UBCC, Dr. Alex became an essential member of the Human Performance Lab, where he and his team tested professional, collegiate, and high school athletes to reduce injury risk, evaluate potential, and eliminate weaknesses. During his time at UBCC, Dr. Alex was selected by the West Haven VA Hospital to participate in their clinical internship program, working side by side with orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and other practitioners to improve patient outcomes. While at UNCC, he earned his American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist certification, enabling him to combine chiropractic care and exercise prescription to maximize his patients' results. Dr. Alex is also TPI certified, allowing him to assess and treat various golf injuries and swings, helping golfers reach their maximum athletic potential. Working in a multidisciplinary office gives Dr. Alex the freedom to provide his patients with the best care tailored to their individual needs.

I have been to several chiropractors in my life. Dr. Smith is by far the very best. He is concerned, he listened and had excellent advise. He adjusted me very well. He then had an approach and a plan that gave me great satisfaction and relief. My pain level after this visit was greatly reduced and this lasted for several days. Dr. Smith is top notch.
