About Alexandra (Kaplan) Corwin
ALEXANDRA KAPLAN CORWIN, MS, RDN, CDN, CDE, CSP
Alex is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN). She specializes in weight management and medical nutrition therapy. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP), and holds a Certificate in Adult Weight Management. Alex completed her Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University and her practical training at Montefiore Medical Center. She holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where she studied human development.
Prior to opening her Core Nutrition practice full time in Westchester, Alex worked at Montefiore Medical Center in the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. She also previously worked as an inpatient clinical dietitian-nutritionist at Montefiore, where she treated adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, including obesity, gastrointestinal conditions, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease and cancer.
