Dr. Alexandra (Alea) Yu is a licensed audiologist who earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Her background includes experience in private audiology practices, ENT groups, and large hospital systems.
Dr. Yu founded Yu Audiology to simplify hearing care and provide patients with clear, personalized access to audiological services. Her approach emphasizes best practices and patient-centered care to ensure hearing solutions are effective, individualized, and sustainable. Yu Audiology provides comprehensive hearing testing (audiograms), hearing aid consultations, and long-term hearing care in a calm, welcoming environment. We specialize in evaluating hearing loss and selecting appropriate hearing solutions.
Please note:
• We do not treat ear pain, impacted cerumen, ear infections, or dizziness — please see your PCP or Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) first for these concerns.
• If your ENT or PCP referred you for a hearing test, please select “Audiogram” or “Hearing Test” when scheduling.
• If you would like to discuss hearing aids, please book a "Hearing Aid Consultation". Hearing aids are typically an out-of-pocket cost and discussed during your consultation. Some insurers will provide partial or full coverage for hearing aids. We can verify benefits in advance, but insurance information must be provided.
• Outside hearing aid adjustments or cleanings are welcome but subject to a separate out of pocket service fee.
• Intake forms must be completed at least 48 hours before your appointment to avoid rescheduling.
• We do not see patients under 18.
