About Alexis Brown
Alexis Brown, PA-C, is a nationally certified, New York State licensed physician assistant specializing in orthopedics. Under the direction of Dr. Matthew Gotlin, Alexis manages all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, patient education, interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting Dr. Gotlin in surgery.
Alexis completed her undergraduate education at San Diego State University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. During her time there, she was an active member of the dance program and volunteered at the university's physical therapy clinic, supporting patients with neuromuscular disabilities. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University – Lenox Hill Hospital.

I met with the Physician's Assistant, Alexis Brown and couldn't have been any happier with how my appointment went. She was so nice and friendly. She was very thorough in her examination. She listened very carefully to my issues. Overall she was an absolute pleasure and if I ever have any other orthopedic issues, I will not hesitate to see her again. Dr. Gotlin was also very friendly and explained everything to me about my condition and addressed my concerns. Great team.

Thought I had good experience with this facility in the past with a different doctor, this specific provider is a PA, who seems a bit confused and had to step outside to see my x-ray even though my x-ray is right there in the room. She also made assumptions about my inquiries and seems defensive. Overall I would caution.
