About Alexis Flores
Hello, my name is Alexis Flores! I am a military dependent who grew up traveling the world and became accustomed to learning from and loving people from all walks of life. Before becoming an NP, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2013. I then earned my Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2022. Being a Registered Nurse for 10 years prior to becoming an NP has given me comfort in the extensive patient care experiences I had over the years, with specialties in oncology, hematology, and orthopedics. I describe myself as a caring and compassionate practitioner who truly enjoys helping others become the best versions of themselves.
Some things I enjoy are weightlifting, traveling, decorating, and spending time with my husband and four children. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, making it my personal mission to not only connect with my patients on a more personal basis but also practice quality care focused on overall wellness and disease prevention. I believe it is never too late to fill the cup that you pour from, and I am here to help others be the best and healthiest versions of themselves.
