What should a new client know about working with you?

Please be advised, controlled substances ( e.g., opioids/Narcotics, Barbiturates, Sedative-hypnotics, Stimulants) are not prescribed. Children may be considered for stimulant treatment, with provider discretion. Medication-assisted-treatment (MAT) options for substance use disorders are available (e.g., Naltrexone, Vivitrol, Acamprosate, Buprenorphine-Naloxone (Suboxone), Buprenorphine (Subutex).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is conducted during the first visit to establish diagnosis and treatment. Available treatment options are discussed and treatment plan is established in a shared decision with the patient. Active participation is always encouraged for all my patients. Follow up visits depend on the complexity of the individuals' mental health statuses and needs.
