About Dr. Alexis Oliveros

Dr. Oliveros is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She prides herself on being an advocate for her patients' health and ensuring proper communication regarding their care. After graduating from SUNY Binghamton, she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Oliveros relocated to the Hudson Valley area, initially working in a hospital setting. She has since transitioned to a primary care position with The Westchester Medical Practice to focus more on preventing scenarios that require inpatient hospitalization. Im very happy to have found Dr. Oliveros. The dr as well as the nurse and front desk were very warm and welcoming (and i was late). Only had one appointment but very relieved and impressed with the attention and care. Despite mentioning they were understaffed, my visit was incredibly efficient with no wait time at all. The doctor was thorough, attentive, and didn’t rush through any part of the appointment. I felt listened to and well taken care of. Really appreciated the care

Doctor was great. I was contacted :30 before appointment to inform me that I would not be able to get a physical, since these are only done in the morning. That could have been relayed earlier than day of.

It’s been a long time since I saw a PCP and I really enjoyed my experience today.
Dr. Oliveros graciously saw me even though I was 15 minutes late. My wait was minimal and I was in and out in under an hour.
The entire staff was friendly and, as a woman of color, it was refreshing to have so many other black and brown women helping me.
Maria, the LPN who took my blood and ran my EKG, had amazing bedside manner and I felt very taken care of by her. I felt very comfortable and believe I have found my PCP moving forward!

Dr Oliveros was very pleasant and she listened to all of my concerns. It’s probably the first time in a long time that a doctor listens thoroughly to me, addresses all of my questions and concerns, and where I don’t feel like my visit was rushed. I will continue to see Dr Oliveros moving forward!
