What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach combines medication management with education and collaborative decision-making. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or looking for a provider who will partner with you in your mental health journey, my goal is to help you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your first appointment, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and goals for treatment so I can gain a complete understanding of what you're experiencing. Together, we'll discuss possible diagnoses, review treatment options, and create a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and preferences. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring your progress, discussing any changes in symptoms, adjusting medications if needed, and addressing any questions or concerns that come up along the way. My goal is to make each appointment feel collaborative, supportive, and judgment-free. While my primary focus is medication management, I also incorporate supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques into our visits when appropriate. If you would benefit from more in-depth psychotherapy, I'm happy to coordinate care with a therapist to ensure you receive comprehensive treatment.
