Very thorough and friendly
He is great and gets straight to the point like his attitude calm n smart knows what he is doing
He was attentive, thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.
Very professional and thorough. Friendly with kids. Very clean establishment.
very nice and friendly
Didn't produce a thorough diagnosis, just basically threw medication at me without even knowing what exactly was the problem. Didn't show any kind of interest or attention.
The patient room I was processed in was converted into a storage room with boxes everywhere. Upon going through my consultation, the Dr. opened the door and left it open while I was still undressed. When I was moved to another room to, the Dr. again opened the door and left it open while I was undressed on the table. During both instances staff and other patients had a clear view into my room while I was naked.
Indiscreet and too short. It was less tha 10 mins and they end up selling me something. Also the practice seem very dirty and old. The lady in the front desk was verifying my insurance out loud in front of other patients disclosing my private information, the nurse asked me about the reason of my visit which I expected it to be very private and to share only with the Doctor, and the Doctor did my medical questionaire with the door open and with other patients and staff walking around the office. I expect from a doctor the maximum privacy possible and I felt embarrassed all day after my visit.
Dr.Shtainer was excellent ,cared about my privacy and made me feel comfortable while explaining his findings. Clean office friendly staff highly recommend!
I think the Drs great
Not very effective does not explain anything to you he just gives you medication without telling what it is or what is it for !!
They will charge you a co-pay and if the doctor performs particular diagnostics you will be charged extra. You are not informed that you will be charged extra before the procedure is performed.
The office was actually closed on the scheduled date. I have to reschedule for another date.
Very good doctor. Highly recomendet.
i have visited many doctors in my life but never in my life met this rude doctor. He asks you to close a door , i don't mind closing the door but there is a way of asking it like "can you please close the door but no he choses not to be polite". You know as a patient , we always have some questions or concerns so when we ask him questions he doesn't reply properly , it seems like he doesn't care or he doesn't want to answer it. Our experience here was not good or at least not friendly.
Very good overall
Great guy who was right to the point. I was In and out in no time. Staff was also very courteous during all encounters. This ZocDoc thing is awesome and something every doctor should use.
Inpatient front desk personnel were upset that the first time patient came for the last appointment time for the day and was filling out the paperwork for a long time (they booked the appointment). Doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me, probably for the same reason. Felt like at a factory on a conveyer belt.
Great very nice smart man I see him every 6 months
I am disappointed with the service. I felt defrauded. I told this physician through your web site what my sons problem was and I and that we were referred by my sons primary physician. I also told him he already had an ultrasound and I specifically asked what he needed us to come with, because the last office I called insisted that we come with a CD of the picture of the ultrasound my son had. There was no response to my requests, yet after examining my son, this physician admitted he is not a specialist in the problem my son has and referred us to another urologist whom he said is a specialist in that problem. My question is why did he confirm the appointment if he is not a specialist in the problem? And now he instructed us to go to the specialist with a CD of my sons ultrasound the material I had expected him to ask for he was honest about the appointment. I am considering further options against this physician for defrauding me and my insurance.
Dr. Steiner is the best in the business hands-down
Very thorough. Explained everything. Very patient
Caring, professional, high tech, respectful!!!
Cosy environment. Very professional and detailed in testings.
Great office doctor was very good great visit.
The office was disgusting. I should have just walked out but I was in too much pain. The "doctor" proceeded to try whatever he could think of with apparently no real knowledge of what to do. At least he provided an antibiotic as I was leaving so hopefully my dick won't rot off.
Very professional and excellent doctor, he explain to me the situation! All staff workers very helpful! Thank You Doctor!
I was very pleased with everything. ..
Great Going back Again
Extremely rushed, barely let me talk - not sure if he even looked at the issue I was referring to. Just gave me a generic fungal cream and told me to rub it around for a few weeks. That hasn't done anything so far. Also, the (rude) receptionist insisted that my insurance deductible ($0) was not met and that I'd have to pay full-price. I had to call my insurance company myself and then have them inform her that I have 100% coverage.
Fantastic guy! He made me feel very comfortable...pleasant office staff...highly recommend him
Very professional. Felt very comfortable wirh him. Would recommend this office to anyone
The doctor and office workers were nice, polite and cordial but i felt unwelcome there. His tv,magazines and medical literature were all in the Russian language so as an english speaker only, i was uncomfortable.
He was very professional and showed he cares for his patients.
The visit was extremely professional, and i would definitely recommend him to anyone with a urological problem.
seemed like a competent doctor, but hurried, distant, and disinterested in communicating with and reassuring the patient. performed invasive examination with no briefing or explanation of what was about to happen
Dr. Shtainer was very professional, listened to my concerns and performed all diagnostic tests immediately. His staff was warm, attentive and professional. I would highly recommend him.
I never had an appointment so fast ever in my life! He didn't even ask for my concerns! He didn't take not even 15 minutes! Totally disappointed. I felt that this doctor just stealed my insurance and copay. Ever again! By the way, office inside so disorganized and not clean. Be careful!
Professional efficient and to the point.... Recommend highly!!!
I was surprised that procedures were available for over $300 and yet credit cards were not accepted. Thankfully they were willing to accept payment on my next scheduled visit.
Dr Shtainer Identified the problem with my son very quickly, got me to understand the issue and prescribed a solution. I was very happy with the visit
I'VE BEEN VISITING DR. SHTAINER FOR THE PASS FEW YEARS, AND EACH VISIT HAS BEEN VERY THOROUGH. TWO YRS AGO I HAD AND PROSTATE ISSUE IN INSTED OF IMPLYING THAT I HAVE A MINI PROCEDURE,HE PRESCRIBED AN ANTIBIOTIC WHICH CURED THE PROBLEM. THE DR. IS VERY WELL MANNERD AND MAINTAINS HIS PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL TIMES. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO CONTINUE MY MY SEMI- OR ANNUEL VISITS.
Everything was fine, except for the long waiting in the line... All my family members are the clients of this office. We know doctor Shtainer for 7 years and trust him and his assistants. I would bravely recommend this office to all my friends and relatives...
Dr.Shtainer seemed to give me a good examination including sonography... I will be following up with the doctor in one week, hoping that the treatment prescribed has given me relief.
He checked his e-mail or was texting on his phone during my appointment, while I was in the room. Immediately after a prostate exam, no less. He was quite rude and brusque and his staff was very disorganized. Did not feel comfortable discussing my symptoms or background with him because it didn't seem like he was listening or paying attention. Never sent me the results of a test I took. Prescribed me medication - but had no record of it in his files during my follow up appointment. I'm sure he's very intelligent and an apt doctor, but he treated me like a number and not a patient. Would not recommend
Very professional, very caring and thorough... Highly recommended Urologist.
It was only a follow up visit.
This is my initial impression. Dr. Shtainer was most professional and focused. He is a person whose competance is expressed by his actions . I would most certainly recommend him to anyone needing a urologist. My only caution is the hope that I feel this way all through our relationship.
First and foremost, this office has no sense of professionalism at all. Very rude front desk employees who speak to you as if they were doing you a favor. Loud, noisy, arguing in front of patients waiting to see the doctor.Your privacy is not garanteed in this office as they would loudly ask you to repeat your address even though it is right in front of them. Poor English, very unsatisfied. As far as the doctor himself, he seems to know what he's doing but very little concern about answering questions or concerns. He will make you feel very much like someone who is in to pick up a prescription. In overall, most patients looked very disappointed leaving the office so was I. I highly NOT recommend this office, there are better.
rush, not thorough, do not recommend!
professional, easy to talk to, nice.
He is a GREAT DOCTOR. I saw him in the past and will highly recommend him in the future.
Dr. Shtainer is an excellent doctor - highly recommended
Great and professional doctor.
Very professional and great bedside manner.
He is very good but he needs to spend more time with his patients. Listening to them and then on diagnosis. LoL and may be change the receptionist, she is kind of unprofessional with poker face!
Competent, professional. Almost a gruff bedside manner although for a urologist (being a male) it was appopriate.
Extremely professional, helpful and to the point.
This was my first time visiting Dr. Shtainer (as well as using Zoc Doc). The wait time was not bad (about 10 mins) and Dr. Shtainer was pleasant. Bedside manner was totally fine. I have no complaints about the Doctor; however, the receptionists were both moody and not very pleasant to deal with. Nothing bad happened with them, but they clearly didn't seem thrilled to be helping patients or answering phones. Regardless, I will be returning to see Dr. Shtainer for a follow up appointment. I would also use Zoc Doc again to book my medical appointments.
While the doctor was fairly thorough, he was a bit brusk and seemed hurried. There was no other patient waiting at the time.
I'd wish he was more thorough with patient issues.More communication.Seemed like he was in a rush to get me in and out.
