Dr. Ali Hmidi is a caring and diligent pulmonologist and critical care specialist based in Middletown and Newburgh, NY. Dr. Hmidi earned his medical degree from the University of Szeged Faculty of Medicine in Hungary. He then moved to the United States to complete both his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Brooklyn Hospital Center.
Dr. Hmidi is a part of Crystal Run Healthcare. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr Hmidi was recommened to me by a coworker, My expectations of him were high and after my visit with him I can honestly say he meet every expectation and then some.
He asks lots of important questions and best of all, he lets you speak and listens carefully to you. Never once looking at his watch. Amazing visit will highly recommend to others.

Where smart and kind I was with the kids which the baby was making a lot of noise and I was uncomfortable embarrassed but he make me feel that it’s OK super recommending dr Ali hmidi!

Dr. Hmidi did not appear to be in a hurry and that was appreciated. My vocal and hearing problem, unfortunately, yielded a communication challenge. I am cognizant of the patient waiting for the doctor in another little room. So, Dr. Hmidi successfully and patiently made his recommendations, regardless of necessary constraints in that setting.

WOW, what a wonderful experience. I had made my appointment on line, I printed out the patient forms and brought them with me. The receptionist was a sweetheart, and the nurse who brought me back was calming and friendly. The doctor was absolutely wonderful, very reassuring and professional. My appointment was for 11:45, it was my first appointment and I was leaving with my testing orders and next appointment at 1pm. I would highly recommend Dr. Hmidi.
