About Dr. Alice Ajim
Dr. Alice Ajim, MD, is a Geriatrician, Internist, and Primary Care Specialist, providing care to patients in the Houston and Sugar Land, Texas area. She is fellowship trained in Geriatric Medicine and board certified, holding active certifications in both Geriatric Medicine and Primary Care Internal Medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine, one of the premier physician board certifying agencies in the United States. Dr. Ajim is affiliated with Methodist Hospital, Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, and St. Joseph Medical Center. Two young ladies at the front desk were nice. Please update the insurances you guys say you accept so people won’t make blank trips. Online it says my insurance is in network upon arrival I was told it’s out of network

On Zoc Doc it told me that my insurance was in network when I arrive to the doctors appointment they told me my insurance was out of network. So I wasted a whole trip to go 30 minutes away to be told I cannot see the doctor. As I was leaving the staff was leaving for the day right behind me so makes me wonder if I was denied because everyone was ready to leave.

The NP literally checked her phone multiple times while she was in the room with me. She would speak then tell me to hold on while she checked her phone. Unprofessional and poor communication.

I was told by the doctor that I have high blood pressure and was told that I need high pressure medicine. They ask if I wanted my prescription called in I get to the pharmacy no prescription!! I advised the doctor I’m in pain to get to pharmacy and no medication. Nobody cares these days. I decided to get a second opinion and go someplace else.

Extremely helpful. I’ve been having pain for two months that I’ve gone to two separate doctors for. Dr.Ajim was able to get me in for the proper tests and I received my diagnosis the same day. I have peace of mind knowing what the issue is now and can finally move forward with the proper care to relieve the pain.

I scheduled my first appointment to get paperwork filled out for work because I had Covid, she told me bring her a negative test and she can fill it out. So I scheduled my second appointment for the following Friday at 3:30. I wasn’t seen till 4:55pm because they forgot I was in a patient room. It took for me to ask to use the restroom for them to remember I was in the office. I let her know I tested negative and she told me she couldn’t honor the date of my positive Covid test because the test from a different facility and it wasn’t taken by her. She completely wasted my time and was inconsiderate. I wish I would’ve trusted the reviews cuz now I’m at risk of losing my job due to not meeting a deadline I had extended because she told me she’d fill out once I brought her a negative test.

I waited 2.5 hrs to see the Doctor. I seen the Dr all of just two minutes for her to barely examine me and refer me to another Doctor.
When I arrived no one was at the office. A lady had an appointment for 2 pm and I arrived at 3 and she had been standing outside the whole time. Nurse had arrived and the Dr arrived 2 hrs later. They had 3 or more patients just sitting in examination rooms waiting for the Doctor. No one communicated the Doctor wasn’t there, I had to asks what was going on. I arrived at 3pm and left by 6 pm.

I booked an appt through zocdoc for a yearly wellness exam including a Pap smear. I filled out all paperwork online prior to my appt and was made to do it again on paper upon arrival and they seemed to have no idea why I was there or any of my info that I had taken time to fill out prior to my appointment. The ladies were nice, but unprofessional and the exam room was not clean. However, They did not examine me at all but instead wrote me 3 different referrals to other doctors for my Pap smear and mammogram and were out of flu shots.

This doctor makes you wait 3 hours before seen . When she finally shows up , she was on the phone the whole visit . She forgot to schedule my X-ray and didn’t have my prescription sent to the pharmacy. The doctor was too busy in her personal life to care about patients. Will NEVER GO BACK .horrible Dr. Alice ajim Extremely unprofessional.

Had a 2:00 appointment and when I got there at 1:45 the office was locked. Waited 50 minutes until the office was open and then an additional 20 minutes after that. Once I finally was seen the whole process of vitals and waiting for doctor took another 30 minutes. I was there for 2 hours total over a simple visit that should have taken 30 minutes or less
