Alice Echeta is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She owns ACT Healthcare Services, founded in 2020. Alice earned her BSN and MSN from the University of Phoenix and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Global, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health across the lifespan. Most of her healthcare career has been in mental health. She is a mental health advocate who understands that individuals with mental illness require as much help and attention as those diagnosed with diabetes or hypertension. Her diverse experience includes roles as a licensed Psychiatric Technician, Registered Nurse, FNP, Hospice NP, and wound care NP, but her passion has been mental health since 2016. Alice believes in racial equality and delivers mental health services with compassion, respect, autonomy, and integrity. She treats her clients as individuals, providing individualized care. Her purpose is to help eliminate the stigma and barriers to mental healthcare and to provide the highest-quality, empathetic, and compassionate care because mental health matters. While I appreciated the provider, the experience in the beginning was not ideal. I was in need of severe help and care at the moment, but the provider asked about rescheduling and the camera wasn’t turned on. I truly just needed someone who was ready for me in that moment of mental distress.

I was going through so many doctors and honestly, she was going to be my last hope of trying to get better. Dr. Echeta helped me feel comfortable when I am very closed off and scared of other people. She was actively listening and didn’t pass judgment compared to the other people who have the same title as her and made me feel ashamed of what’s wrong with me. 10/10 recommend her if you want someone who will listen and understand you!! She truly wants what’s best for your health and believe me because I am sensitive to feeling like a burden to other people. If you choose her, you will not regret it. She also doesn’t just treat you like another client, she makes the nerves go away, and someone who has mental health problems, we love that stuff… at least I do. Thank you so much Dr. Echeta, I hope you know you saved a life today, for just being you!!! 10 million stars if I can!! So thankful I found a new doctor ????
