Dr. Alicia Braun, MD
Dr. Alicia Braun is a Maryland native from Severna Park MD. She attended Princeton University for her undergraduate studies, and University of Maryland for Medical School and internship. Dermatology residency at the Washington Hospital Center was completed in 2001. Since that time she has worked with her father and siblings in Foggy Bottom. Her father, Martin Braun III, was the first dermatologist in the Washington DC area to offer Mohs surgery, a specialized technique for removing skin cancer. While Alicia Braun does not perform Mohs surgery, she does focus on the detection of skin cancers through thorough head-to-toe skin checks. While medical dermatology is her primary focus, she is well-versed in cosmetic dermatology, including neurotoxins, lasers, and fillers. Dr. Braun is available for appointments on Mondays. Dr. Braun is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University. Professional memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Now a resident of Chevy Chase MD, Dr. Alicia Braun is married with three young children. Her free time is largely spent with her children, but when time allows she enjoys walking, hiking, and visiting her parents on Kent Island.
