About Dr. Alina Stanica

Alina Stanica, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. Dr. Stanica attended medical school at Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, where she completed a residency in allergy and immunology. She went on to complete a pediatrics residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Queens, New York. Her residency there included rotations with the pediatric intensive care unit and hematology/oncology department at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Bronx, New York. She also completed a cardiology rotation at New York–Presbyterian Hospital. Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Stanica provided pediatric care in hospital and physician practice settings over a period of eight years in Florida, Iowa, and New Mexico. Dr. Stanica is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish, Romanian and Hungarian.

This was my first visit with Dr. Alina Stanica and I am very happy with the communication and her being my son's pcp.
They should have a lab in this location so if a patient need that person does not have to go to Quest or LabCorp.
We loved Dr Stanica. As a physician myself, I feel very comfortable with my kids being under her care.

Dr. Stanica is an excellent physician. I am always happy to have her as my children's pediatrician. She is very thorough and addresses all of my questions and concerns.

Stanica always listens to all my concerns. She do not rush her time with the patient. She takes the time that is needed to resolve the issue that brought the pt yo the office. I am pleased with her knowledge
The only reason the Dr was scored lower for knowing the medical history is that this was the first time seeing this provider however she knew enough and then asked us about our history to get a better picture. She was excellent and we are very happy she is now our sons doctor!
Dr. Stanica has been our health care provider since moving back to FL in 2018. We have since moved out of the area but still continue to commute to her practice because she provides such personable, wonderful care for our children.
