I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with various mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. I earned my Bachelor's degree from American Intercontinental University and completed my Master's in Nursing at Molloy College. My passion lies in serving these populations.
I treat every patient as an individual, making it imperative to address each person’s unique concerns and reasons for seeking treatment. I enjoy building trusting relationships and thrive on providing individualized, holistic care for every patient I encounter.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I spent almost a decade working in a New York State inpatient psychiatric hospital. This experience has assisted me in the understanding of psychiatric presentations and the manifestation of mental disorders. I’m very companionable and treat my patients with respect. I find it most important to create a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable environment for my patients. I pride myself in my innate ability to create a therapeutic atmosphere allowing my patients to express their needs and experiences and create a self-centered treatment goal-oriented plan.
