About Alison Ochoa
Alison is a board-certified physician assistant committed to giving her patients high-quality medical care with a focus on patient education and understanding. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. After working for two years as an Emergency room scribe, EMT, and medical assistant to obtain patient contact hours for PA school, she attended Western University of Health Sciences. She received her master's degree in physician assistant studies.
Alison's past work experience has been mainly focused as an orthopedic surgical PA, but she is excited for the transition into ENT and to bring the hands-on skills that she has obtained with her. When she sees her patients, she is always focused on listening, connecting, and ultimately finding the best treatment plan possible based on the patient's needs.
In her free time, you can always find her attending a hot yoga class or enjoying the outdoors. She enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She believes that a healthy mindset can intertwine with physical health.

I had a FABULOUS experience at the DelRey ENT office today!
Charlotte (PA) was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, kind, professional, and supportive. Trezen (FD) greeted me with his warm personality as-soon-as I walked through the door. He also offered to helped me fill out my paperwork. Also, Kim (MA) was very kind, professional, and accommodating. The entire staff made me feel right-at-home.

This was one of the best doctor visits I’ve ever had. The MA was thorough, she listened and the PA not only helped me with the ailment I went in with but actually found a couple more issues that I had silently been dealing with (for a while) including a sinus infection and was able to fix it. I have already (same day I was seen) recommended Lauryn to a friend who is taking her daughter to see her. 100% recommend Lauryn. She goes above and beyond.

I had an outstanding experience with Alison — truly beyond excellent. She removed a stubborn earwax plug that had been bothering me, and I jokingly told her she should be known as the “Ear Wax Whisperer.” The wax popped out after a short while; she handled everything with total professionalism and a GREAT bedside manner.
She also reviewed a CT scan with me, and I have never had an ENT provider explain things at this level of clarity and detail. She projected the scan onto a screen and went through it step by step, breaking down technical terminology in a way I could understand. She pointed out what was going on with my sinuses, explained the possible causes of my post-nasal drip, and even suggested some procedures I might consider to help alleviate my symptoms.
Her knowledge, thoroughness, and ability to communicate complex information were truly impressive. And on top of all of that, she is personable, upbeat, and lovely to interact with.

I had an outstanding experience both scheduling my visit and during the visit itself. It was very easy to make a same-day appointment, and once I received the confirmation, the office promptly contacted me with information about the forms I needed to complete beforehand. When I arrived, I was seen within minutes. All the staff were very kind and professional. Alison did an excellent job explaining the results of my in-office CT scan and clearly outlining her recommendations for resolving the issue. After I decided to proceed with the suggested procedure, the surgery scheduler met with me right away to review all the details regarding insurance, preparation, and post-procedure expectations. I appreciated that they assured me it would be fine to reschedule or cancel if needed. During my two-week post-op visit, I’ll also be able to complete an allergy test, which is very convenient. Overall, I had a great experience and hope my procedure day goes just as smoothly.

I was having a lot of sinus pain and allergy flare ups and I was able to schedule an appointment with P.A OCHOA right away. I was put in the exam room and the MA confirmed my symptoms and while I waited for the provider I have to say the view of the Marina was stunning and calming. The front office staff wasn't rushed on check in they were very pleasant. What stood out to me was the CT scan of my sinuses it was done right in the office, this was so convenient. Once the provider came in she was very thorough she took her time explaining the results she allowed me to view the scan on the big screen. This is my new ENT provider
