Dr. Trexler is a psychiatrist who specializes in mood and psychotic disorders, with particular interest in transitional age youth, college students, and young adults. She spent 5 years as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCSD School of Medicine, working as part of the Inpatient/Consult Liaison/Emergency Psychiatry team, where she also taught medical students and residents. Dr. Trexler graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2010 and completed an internship in General Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2011. She was Chief Resident in Psychopharmacology at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine, graduating in 2015, before moving west to San Diego.
