About Allison Gabbert
Allison is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a rich background in various areas of healthcare. She began her career as a pediatric nurse, where she developed a deep passion for patient care. After gaining invaluable experience, she transitioned into serving the Washington, D.C. community as an NP at a nonprofit organization, focusing on providing compassionate care to underserved populations.
Allison’s academic journey includes a nursing degree from Drexel University and a Master’s in Nursing from Georgetown University, where she honed her expertise in family medicine. More recently, she has been serving the Alexandria community as a family practice NP, specializing in comprehensive family medicine, women’s health, and HIV/AIDS care.

In my experience, it is sometimes hard to feel seen and heard when dealing with anything medical as a woman. That was not the case here. I was immediately comfortable and treated with respect. All of my concerns were addressed. As someone who avoids anything medical related when she can, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

My experience at Optimum Health of Jump was fantastic. The staff was really nice, attentive, and they helped me immediately. They took the time to educate me, and I left feeling much more informed than when I walked in. Ms. Allison was especially helpful, knowledgeable, and truly wonderful. I highly recommend this place a perfect 10/10 experience!
