Having worked in both critical care hospital settings and outpatient environments, I feel comfortable addressing a broad range of nutrition concerns and goals. Each nutrition session offers a personalized approach as we make strides toward our ultimate goal. I strive to foster both emotional and physical growth during our time together, learning how to take control of choices and work toward better eating competency. We'll explore beneficial habits tailored to you as an individual and, when appropriate, the entire family unit, while also addressing the specific needs of everyone involved. My focus leans toward lifestyle modifications and sustainable practices rather than creating a space of judgment or restriction. We'll create a balance between scientific and clinical expertise, emotional and motivational interviewing techniques, and a strong emphasis on compassion, patience, and empathy. My goal is to meet you where you are and see how we can expand from there. How can we make this journey fun? How can we take the scary pieces away? How can we keep the joy in eating? These are all pieces we'll explore as we work together to find the resolutions and goals you and your family strive for.
