About Allison Ritzel
**** IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW PLEASE READ****
1. ALL new patients MUST arrive 15 minutes early to complete medical history and required paperwork. This is different from the medical history on ZocDoc. If you do not arrive 15 minutes early as a new patient, you may have to reschedule.
2. ALL cancellations made less than 48hrs prior to your appointment time (including rescheduling) will be charged a fee
3. We do NOT accept ANY Aetna, EPO, Medicaid, or community plans. Please always contact your insurance before coming in as we DO NOT do insurance verification
4. We have a 15 min grace period, but if you arrive more than 15 mins late you will have to reschedule. New patients must arrive at least 15 mins early, as above.
Allie Ritzel is a Certified Physician Assistant who specializes in Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. She joined our practice in 2022 and is passionate about caring for our patients.
Allie is from Virginia Beach, VA and enjoys visiting her family at the beach. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2018 and cheers for the Hokies. Allie graduated summa cum laude from Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences in 2021 where she earned her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
Allie is an involved member of the Northern Virginia chapter of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She completed the Diplomate Fellowship within the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants to further her education within the field. She also serves as a guest lecturer in Dermatology at George Washington University’s Physician Assistant program. She also regularly precepts Physician Assistant students from George Washington University and Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring Physician Assistants!
Allie welcomes new patients, both adults and children, for a wide variety of dermatologic conditions. She approaches patients with understanding and empathy to provide them the best possible care.
