What should a new client know about working with you?
I’m not here to judge or talk "at" you. I’m here to figure things out with you. You don’t need to come in knowing exactly what to say or what’s “wrong.” Just show up as you are, and we will take it from there.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
First, I just want to get to know you. I will learn about what’s going on, what’s working and what’s not. From there, we’ll talk through options together and come up with a plan that actually makes sense for you. I take a personalized approach based on evidence-based practice.

Getting help from Alula has truly turned my life 180. I was iffy at first as I never experienced psychiatric/mental help and told him that the first appointment. Our conversations made me comfortable to follow his lead and trust in him. Not only did he help find the medications that work for me, but also encouraged positive lifestyle changes/habits. I was always a little hesitant to start seeing a provider in psychiatric care; but with Alula, he was so compassionate and caring. He wants to truly take care of his patients and wants what’s best for them. You can feel comfortable with telling him how you feel, and I know the care is worth the price to my healing journey.

Honestly I was nervous going into the appointment but Alula made me feel comfortable right away. He really listened and not just to what I was saying but understood how I was feeling inside. I didn’t feel rushed or judged which has been rare in my experience. I have gone through so many others from big names but I got tired of losing them to other companies. He made it clear that he will continue to be my provider through it all and that means a lot to me. I hope you are reading this, thank you.

I definitely felt cared for and comfortable during my first visit. He is extremely compassionate and took the time to truly understand me. His thoughtfulness and passion really showed throughout the appointment. He went above and beyond the level of care was exemplary. He took his time, addressed all my concerns, and made me feel heard when discussing treatment. I could genuinely tell that he cared about how I felt. I highly recommend him and I will definitely be returning for another visit.
