Dr. Alyssa Aquilino, DPM received her medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her three-year surgical residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center. During her three-year residency, Dr. Aquilino was trained in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery, with a strong emphasis on routine foot maintenance, diabetic care, wound management, and biomechanics. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from SUNY Albany and went on to complete a Master’s Degree program in Biological and Physical Sciences at Touro College. Dr. Aquilino was a competitive gymnast for ten years, which inspired her passion for foot and ankle care. A native of Astoria, Queens, she enjoys spending free time with her husband and new baby boy. Her hobbies include skiing, cooking pasta, and participating in high-intensity workout classes.
