About Alyssa Brennan
A board-certified physician assistant at MDCS: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery and sees patients at their offices in Commack, Plainview, and Hampton Bay, New York. Alyssa earned her undergraduate degree in human biology from SUNY Oneonta. She then went on to complete her physician assistant education at Stony Brook University, where she excelled in her studies. After graduating with a Master of Science, she received her certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. During her clinical year of graduate school, Alyssa completed rotations in a variety of different fields, including dermatology, emergency medicine, psychology, orthopedics, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and surgery. She is ACLS and BLS certified and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Alyssa has received specialized training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is passionate about the field and strives to help patients feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin. She is committed to helping patients achieve their own unique skin care goals and providing high-quality patient care.
