About Alyssa Kerr
Alyssa Kerr, PA-C, is a NCCPA board-certified physician assistant at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology from High Point University and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Hofstra University. Alyssa is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and an active member of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She discovered her passion for dermatology at a young age, drawn to the intriguing challenges of the field and the opportunity to build lasting connections with patients. Alyssa takes a collaborative approach, focusing on creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific concerns and needs. She treats a wide range of common to complex skin conditions for patients of all ages and regularly performs skin cancer screenings. Alyssa is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain their medical and cosmetic skin care goals while making them feel confident in their own skin!

Alyssa was so kind and listened to all of my concerns. She took her time and addressed everything w/ great detail. She was funny and very welcoming. I will definetely be following up with Alyssa Kerr PA-C for all of my dermatological concerns. :)

Alyssa is very patient and knowledgeable! I did CO2 laser and laser hair removal with Alyssa at two different appointments and the sessions went very well. I was very nervous about both procedures, but she thoroughly explained each procedure and it calmed my nerves. I'm looking forward to my next sessions!
