“Great care and attention from Dr. Octain, who goes to great lengths to understand patients. Unfortunately, his practice suffers significantly from the unpredictability of the clinic and the larger CloseKnit ownership structure.
After my appointment, staff told me to return in the morning for bloodwork. For the following two days, I arrived to find the entire office (not just the lab) closed without explanation, followed by a long holiday weekend. For a medical office that doubles as an urgent care clinic, the patient care is shoddy and unprofessional and going here for primary care is a real drag. ”

Dr Octain is very thorough in his exams, making sure everything is addressed and that you have the proper informations to move forward with further diagnostics and correct medication.

I was formally with Kaiser and my doctor was good. But switched insurance in 2025 to Aetna which required a new doctor. I found Dr. Octane on Aetna’s portal but what drew me to him was his reviews and high ratings. I’m extremely enthused with Dr. Octane. He is truly extremely knowledgeable, personable and his bedside manner is outstanding.

In my entire life, Dr. Octain was hands down my favorite physician. He was extremely empathetic, attentive, and genuinely focused on his patients and their needs. Truly a 10/10 experience.
My only complaint was the receptionist, who unfortunately was neither warm nor welcoming in the slightest. Even overhearing her interactions with other patients felt a bit jarring, as she came across as extremely apathetic.

The OD and the assistant were excellent,
The receptionist seemed like she couldn't care less about being professional or helpful.
Except for the officer receptionist the visit was very good.
