Her rigorous three-year program involved comprehensive didactic instruction and hands-on clinical rotations in diverse specialties, including General Surgery, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Dermatology. Building on her academic achievements, Amanda completed a specialized six-month Dermatology Clinical Internship with Dr. William K. Wong at Hawaii Dermatology & Surgery, Inc. This invaluable experience allowed her to provide critical dermatological care to a diverse island community, further enhancing her skills as a well-rounded healthcare provider. After her internship, Amanda continued to serve the people of Hawaii with Dr. Wong, further honing her dermatology skillsow, she is thrilled to return to Las Vegas and serve patients at Vivida Dermatology. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Amanda met her husband, Lyndon, a US Air Force pilot, in high school. They are proud parents to two wonderful toddlers, Charlotte and Audrey. Outside of her professional life, Amanda enjoys leading youth classes at her church, as well as running and cycling. She cherishes spending time with her family at the beach and exploring local museums. With her warm and welcoming demeanor, Amanda is committed to making every patient feel valued and cared for at Vivida Dermatology. We are confident that her expertise and dedication will contribute greatly to the well-being of our community.
