I enjoy providing care to the adult and older population, giving them the tools needed to improve their health outcomes. I have been in this field for over 20 years and have valued all of my roles. A major responsibility of a primary care provider is to understand the whole patient's needs. This includes access to care, financial burdens, lack of knowledge, and any mental health concerns that could impact care. Patients sometimes have preconceived ideas about mental health, which can affect multiple aspects of care and lead to chronic conditions from poor self-care. The role of the primary care provider is to evaluate, treat, or refer to meet all the needs of patients. I earned my Master's in Adult Geriatric Nursing from Regis College, which has deepened my expertise in caring for this population. I work hard but also love my time off. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, and snowboarding, and I travel as often as I can. Spending time with my family and my dogs is very important to me.

The doctor had ordered labcorp test for me but the labcorp people have denied saying they Don’t have physicians to do. It can only be done at a clinical physician. And it’s a complete waste of my time.

Dr amanda really listened to me and my unique condition that I was describing. I had never done a telehealth appointment before and she made it so easy ON TOP of doing what no doctor has ever done before and gave me a personal follow up call to check on me and the medication that was prescribed.
