“For six months I met with Amanda, once a week. We systematically removed foods from my diet, kept a weekly log and journal, and slowly reincorporated foods to identify potential food types of concern. Amanda carefully considered my history with EDs and current stomach issues, creating a comprehensive plan to navigate a restricted diet. This plan and her weekly counseling helped me avoid falling into the patterns of latching onto “safe” foods for fear of pain. All this to say, I highly recommend Amanda for her knowledge and her compassion throughout this journey. ”

I have experienced near constant stomach pains and discomfort for the past few years and finally decided I had enough! A friend had used DL Dietetics in the past and raved about how her life changed for the better. Amanda made the process so much easier than I thought it could be. Through our weekly check-ins, she helped me dissect the ins and outs of my diet and where my issues were stemming from. She helped me find alternatives and guided me through the sometimes-exhaustive journey of eating out on a restrictive diet. Fast forward 5 months and I have a new and improved relationship with food that leaves no trace of pain! While it can be tough to adapt to a new diet and even tougher to adapt to a new lifestyle, DL Dietetics makes it their mission to help make the transition as smooth as possible. I am forever grateful for the help they have given me and am looking forward to zero stomach issues being my new normal!
