From the time she graduated from SDSU to the time she started her Master’s program, she worked as a speech-language pathologist assistant (SLPA) in a variety of settings to include early intervention preschool, elementary school, high school, hospital and private practice. She has experience providing treatment in community settings, in-home, clinical settings, as well as providing tele-health services. In 2023, Amanda graduated from Baylor University with her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. During her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones either out in nature, at church, or in the comfort of home. You can usually find her walking with her dog, singing and playing with her baby girl, or cuddled up watching rom-coms with her husband. Connection and quality time with the ones she loves is so important to her. This value is carried over to her treatment and work as she always puts her clients’ preferences, desires, and needs first!
