Pleasant as usual.
Dr. Modesta-Keyhani was super nice and knowledgeable. Most of the staff was very nice. Lab tech was nice, experienced and informative. One downside is that nothing was computerized, everything was written on paper. They couldn’t print my check in paperwork from Zocdoc that I took the time out to complete, not to mention the paperwork they have you fill out is awful. Other than that, my experience was good.
Great doctor, looking forward to working with her to improve my health care
Everything went extremely well. I felt like she really cares about my well being and I look forward to keeping her as my doctor.
Best Dr. in Phoenix.... I am so lucky to have her. She takes good care of me..... Best thing about Amanda is that I don't have to make an appt. a month in advance & work my schedule around hers. I can go onto ZocDoc and get into see Amanda usually within 24-hours. The longest ( 1-time ) was 48-hours. Thanx Doc....
Great! Amanda is very intelligent & caring. The office staff are Great... Brenda, Eric & Carla are always in a great mood which is helpful when I don't feel well. Thank You, Doctor Modesta & Staff
She is very nice but I felt extremely rushed. It was my first visit and no time was taken to explain the different prescriptions written and some were for compounding pharmacies. I did not understand extant and lab work would be done elsewhere. I just did not feel the personal interest.
My best & favorite PCP ever. The nice thing is, she is also a friend. She lets you help yourself if you want & helps with suggestions and so on.. I appreciate that because who is more familiar with my body, mind & health? Me! However, Dr. has much more formal training than I do & she is Super Intelligent. While I may know me, She knows how Me works & when Me is not working properly. Thanks Dr. Modesta
She is great!
I have had Amanda as my Doctor for quite awhile now. It took me a year to find some body to replace my old doctor & she fits the bill very well. Amanda is very intelligent, caring & listens.
I had no problems and the staff and doctor understood what they were doing and treated with respect and kindness. Thank you.
Nice enough people, but the office is rather dated, and the wait time (both to be seen initially, and spent sat waiting in another room) is often very long. On one occasion I was there approx. 90 minutes, or which maybe five was actually spent with a doctor (or student).
Dr. Modesta-Keyhani is great! She asked questions and listened to me. I am going to her as my primary care doctor and will recommend her to family and friends.
Dr. Modesta-Keyhani was kind and seemed invested in appropriately and thoroughly diagnosing my health problems. I found her bedside manner to be a bit rushed and impersonal, but I think it's because a bunch of people came in at the last minute and seemingly not on time. My appointment was at 3:30 but I was not seen until 45 minutes after, and I was required to fill out paperwork with information I had already basically filled out on Zocdoc. I would imagine that if an office is listed with this service, it would only provide the necessary paperwork so as to expedite the appointment and value my time. Regardless, I'm impressed with Dr. Modesta-Keyhani and will return again with the hopes of a smoother experience.
My visit with this provider is always good, the front staff can be a little inappropriate as they speak in Spanish and as a Spanish speaker I understand everything they are saying and it's unprofessional. Nothing bad about patients which is why I continue to go there
I won't be returning here. The wait time was a little longer - but most likely due to some insurance confusion and I had plenty of time so that wasn't too frustrating. The people at the reception were actually part of the best part of the experience - they were quite friendly. I wasn't very impressed with the level of service from the intake person who takes blood pressure, etc. or the doctor herself. I find it irritating when nurses or doctors spout numbers at you or just ask you questions off of a questionnaire with little actual interaction, which I felt occured. The doctor spent probably less than 5 minutes with me, which I thought was pretty insane for an annual check up. She basically just listened to my heartbeat and then asked me if I wanted to talk to her about anything. Then when I told her that I wanted to get her opinion and thoughts on going on a certain medication she made it clear she didn't really have time to talk about anything and sounded irritated as she was explaining. I had to pull information out of her. Maybe I ask too much of PCPs these days, but even just feigning some interest in your patients and getting to know them would be helpful. I didn't experience that here.
no longer accepts unitedhealth
She was very warm and friendly ! I will definitely make her my PCP ! I look forward to our next visit together
Dr. Modesta-Keyhani was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Since this was a first time well-patient visit, it was general in nature. I received several referrals for lab work and a ENT specialist to follow up on some of my health concerns. All in all I was pleased.
Dr. Modesta is very kind. The wait was a little longer than I'd prefer, but it was definitely worth it. She's a great doctor, the office is clean, and I'll be going back. The office staff was kind, too, which is always a plus!
Extremely pleased with level of detail, caring and overall experience!
Everyone in the office is polite and professional. I will continue to go to the office. She thinks about preventive testing and care along with maintaining overall health
I arrived and one of the first things said to me was, "We can't do your physical today." I asked why no one contacted me...literally no one from the office reached out with an update, reminder, concern about my insurance, nothing from the time I scheduled to the time I walked in the door. Turns out she meant I could still meet with the doctor, but not get a physical. I'm still unsure of the point of this first appointment. You're suppose to tell the doctor about any issues, then she doesn't give any advice or help? I have an issue with this practice. Just seems like a way to bill my insurance an extra time since you need a follow up to have a real appointment. Interactions with the staff and the doctor were cold and off putting, and the facilities left a lot to be desired. Oh and I waited an hour (almost an hour and a half really, since I respect people's time and arrived early) for seemingly no reason. There was no one else in the office when I arrived. No apologies for putting my day an hour behind either. Don't bother filling out the checkin forms in advance. They made me fill them all out again. Overall, I didn't get the impression that anyone in the office was passionate about helping people, and that's a top priority for me when choosing a doctor.
?e?? doc?or ever
Dr. Modesta was my doctor when I was in the hospital in the St Joseph's she is an awesome doctor very knowledgeable and confident I feel lucky to have her has my doctor
Everything was great except for the one hour wait. However, she did take her time with me and answered all my questions after apologizing for the wait.
Dr. Modesta-Keyhani was very empathetic and thorough. I also liked the fact that she came to examination room so soon after the nurse finished her assessment.
My new patient visit was an hour ( arrived 5-10min. Prior) of wait time until I was called back than I waited longer . wait time alone was about 2 hours. When the doctor finally came in to see be she must have taken 5-7 min of her time than that was it. I got labs done there. I was disappointed of the long wait time just to wait all that time and the doctor only give 5-in of her time. So I receive a call a few days later from the office stating labs were back and results are that I am low in Vitamin D . He then asked if I wanted a follow up w/ the doctor , I said no not if I am only low in vitaminD and no other issues. I requested a referral to see my GYN but was told I had to make an appointment for a referral since that was the process of my insurance. I informed him I never had to in the past and My previous doctor PCP would just fax the referral . So I agreed to go to see the doctor for a referral to see my GYN ( doctor OB/GYN only) . When I went in for my 2nd appointment The doctor went over my labs results low in vitamin D like I was told over the phone. I then asked the doctor for a referral to see my GYN for my annual women's check and to make sure my IUD was in place. As I was checking out i gave the printed copies that the doctor provider to the office staff . PER OFFICE STAFF : I have to go back in for another appointment for a referral. I Told her isn't that why I am here and what was said over the phone when I made the appointment , she said no and that I had to go back in for a referral and vitals . I WENT IN FOR 2 appointments within a week they got my vitals every time. Acorrdi g to the office staff it was the process my insurance required. I called my insurance when I left and was told that was not true and just as long as I requested the referral the doctor should be able to fax it and that it did not require 3 appointments ( healthy person) just to get a referral to get my well women's check w/ my GYN. Not PCP. My insurance called the office on 3way to Inform the office but the office staff did not get it and argued it was the patients insuance process ( the insurance co. Informed him it was them who is calling) Waste of time Do NOT go to this office you will just waste your time!!!!! I do not have to go in to see a doctor 3 times in less than 1-2 weeks just for a referral For a well woman's check/ exam. What female doctor makes it so difficult . When women's health is so important. Guess I will be looking for a good doctor as my PCP.
Overall I didn't think the experience was good. I was seen for a lump in my leg she checked it out then gave me a follow up appointment for a biopsy. When I arrived a few days later for my biopsy she had no idea why I was there, or what was going on. Her front desk assistant called me to tell me the lump wasn't cancerous but could barely pronounce the words he was reading me. Both times I arrived they had to get all of my information. They don't seem to have any organization skills.
On my first visit, I thought the wait was a little long (45 minutes), but I liked Dr. Modesta-Keyhani. She's very straight forward and explains things in detail, which I like. On the second appointment, my wait was very short (5 minutes?) and I was VERY impressed with her. She spent 45 minutes going over test results with me, what they mean, options moving forward and ended with, "Call me anytime...I never want you to feel like we don't have open communication." Really enjoy her so far.
Everybody was great.....
After arriving at the office early for my appt and filling out all the paper work I was then informed that the first visit would only be to get set up. I would not actually be able to receive my check up until my next visit. Also due to the fact the getting my birth control was a different type of appt than my annual I would then have to book a third appt in order to get that accomplished. Overall a complete waste of my time. They should be required to put some sort of exclaimed on ZocDoc stating this policy as to not waste people's time.
I really liked Dr. Modesta. She was very thorough and made sure to address all of my concerns.
Dr. Modesto was the best part of my visit. She took all the time we needed to get to know each other and to have all questions on both sides answered in detail. I loved her. However, my first impression of the reception staff was less than expected.
She was very welcoming, also made me feel very comfortable and was very educated and helped with everything I needed. Will definitely go back :)
My appointment went well, the front office didn't have my appointment in the system from ZocDoc even though I had received 2-3 confirmations after booking it.
The wait was a bit long but she was friendly and through
