What should a new client know about working with you?

Our “family first” practice is owned by me and my disabled veteran spouse. We are especially passionate about caring for veterans, families, caregivers, first responders, disabled individuals, and students. We specialize in trauma (PTSD), anxiety disorders, personality disorders, PMDD, and depression. Currently, we offer telehealth appointments, with plans to expand into limited in-person visits. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need support—our office is flexible, and we’re always happy to work with you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic approach can be summed up in one word: empathy. I am a patient who also happens to be a provider, and having experienced both sides of care allows me to bring a unique level of compassion and understanding that can’t be taught or replicated. Empathy is the foundation of how I build strong, trusting relationships with my clients. You can expect to be genuinely understood and heard. I create a warm, confidential, and supportive environment that’s grounded in empathy—with space for humor when appropriate to help you feel more comfortable and at ease. Take a deep breath, because you've already completed the hardest step. You're not alone, we will handle the rest together.
