“Bedside manners were very impressive. Often times, medical staff will go into "medical mode" and speak to the patient using lots of medical jargon and terminology. Patients sometimes won't speak up and ask for a simpler explanation thus leaving the office unsure about their situation. PA Gilchrease was very knowledgeable and explained everything in such a way that the average person could easily understand. Very friendly and understanding of my situation. Also very professional as well as the rest of her staff. Would highly recommend.”

About Amaris Gilchrease
This is a PRIMARY CARE visit - not a specialist appointment (for example, dermatology or obstetrics and gynecology).
Amaris earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, where she graduated Cum Laude and was a proud four-year collegiate athlete in the Alice Tisdale Honors College. She went on to earn her master’s in physician assistant studies from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina.
Amaris is certified by the NCCPA and is an active member of GAPA and AAPA. Before joining AllCare, she spent four years as a Primary Care Physician Assistant at a Federally Qualified Health Center in South Carolina, providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Driven by her love for medicine and community, Amaris finds joy in helping patients achieve their health goals while building long-term, trusting relationships. One of her most meaningful patient experiences was helping an elderly woman whose early lymphoma diagnosis and successful treatment reinforced Amaris’s belief in attentive, compassionate care.
Outside of work, Amaris is a sports fanatic who enjoys working out and spending time with her close-knit family. She believes that the best care begins with truly listening and connecting with every patient she meets.

I really had an enjoyable experience. Dr. Gilchrease and her staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and were attentive to my concerns and needs. Dr. Gilchrease also explained things very thoroughly and set realistic expectations.

The staff was very nice and I wasnt even aware of this location until finding it on zocdoc. Very convenient especially bc I have tried to get appointments with other doctors and they are either not accepting new patients or the first allowable appointment is in 5 months. I hope the doctor i had will be there again when I go back for my physical next year :)

Overall the entire visit was a positive experience. From the front office staff who assisted me with how to interpret the parking meter, to the nurse who was extremely nice. Amaris gets a gold star. This was my first visit and she took the time to listen to my concerns. I am new to the area and needed a physician to follow me. At first I thought I would have to find another doctor because of the distance. Not knowing where I was going made the drive seem long. I got home in 20 minutes which is not far at all. I believe I have found my primary care physician. Nothing but good vibes throughout the office. I felt welcomed and heard. Thank you Amaris and staff.??

The front desk was extremely friendly. The PA I saw was a bit cold and seemed annoyed. Upon arriving I was informed that they did not have a lab in-office which was inconvenience and said "No one called and told you?". Nah, they did not. They then told me there was one "down the street" and they accepted walk-ins. I waited at the suggested lab for 2 hours before leaving without getting any bloodwork.

The overall visit was OK. Front desk receptionist was very polite and professional. However, I originally booked via Zack for a annual physical and on there it said OB/GYN, but when I got there, the provider stated she was not an OB/GYN doctor so it kind of was a bit a waste of time, but you know I was still able to do a Pap smear, which I didn’t need because they stated that I had one already last year and I’m supposed to wait three years to do so so it was just misinformation provided on the Zocdoc app

I would say the experience was okay. I thought the receptionist was unprofessional asking personal questions in the lobby while other patients were waiting. The assistant also got an attitude with me because I wanted to further explain my issues with the PA and not her. She rolled her eyes at me and brushed me off. The PA came in the room looking like she had a biased opinion about me. I will say she is knowledgeable and addressed my issues but I wish there was more professionalism, personalism and privacy.
