About Dr. Amelia Hoelscher

Hoelscher is a dermatologist from The Woodlands, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University and went on to medical school at The University of Texas at Houston. She graduated in the top of her class as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After completing her internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, she went back to her birthplace, New Orleans, Louisiana to complete her dermatology residency. After recently completing her last year as a chief resident, she is excited to be back in Texas. She recently moved to Fort Worth to join her husband while he completes his residency at JPS. Dr. Hoelscher’s special interest include general/medical dermatology, acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer prevention and diagnosis. In her spare time she enjoys working out, spending time with family and visiting national parks.
