What should a new client know about working with you?

What to Expect When Working with Me As your psychiatric provider, I create a safe, supportive space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based care. You’re in control: I view treatment as a partnership. Together, we’ll explore your symptoms, goals, and preferences to build a plan that’s right for you whether that includes medication, therapy referrals, or lifestyle changes. Whole-person focus: Mental health is deeply connected to your physical health, stress levels, and environment. I consider the full picture when diagnosing and recommending care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My Typical Process for Working with Clients 1. Initial Evaluation (60 minutes): We begin with a comprehensive psychiatric assessment. I’ll ask about your mental health history, current symptoms, medications, lifestyle, and goals. This helps us get a full picture of your needs. 2. Personalized Treatment Planning: Based on your evaluation, we’ll develop a treatment plan together. This might include medication management, therapy referrals, wellness strategies, or lifestyle adjustments. I always take time to explain options and answer your questions. 3. Ongoing Medication Management (15–30 minutes): Follow-up visits are scheduled regularly (usually every 1–4 weeks) to monitor progress, adjust medications if needed, and discuss how you're feeling. These sessions are collaborative and supportive. 4. Continuity & Communication: You’ll have access to secure messaging for quick questions, refill requests, or updates between sessions. I also coordinate care with therapists and primary care providers when appropriate with your consent. 5. Virtual & Flexible: All sessions are conducted via secure video, no travel, no waiting rooms. Appointment times are flexible to fit your schedule.

Out-of-Pocket Payments: If you're not using insurance, we offer transparent self-pay pricing for all services. Rates are competitive and provided upfront no surprises. Payment is due at the time of service and can be made easily online via credit/debit card. Telehealth Simplicity: All appointments are held virtually from the comfort of your home no commuting or waiting rooms. You'll receive a secure video link prior to each session. Telehealth visits are typically covered the same way as in-person visits by most insurers. Support & Assistance: We’re happy to walk you through your insurance questions or discuss flexible options if you’re paying out-of-pocket.
