They accept appointments on Zocdoc but when you show up they say the dr can't see you even after completing all there pre-appointment task. Not worth of it unless you love wasting time.

I waited for over an hour before I was seen by Dr. Hashmi. I was in a room on the first floor with a window inadequately covered so the room is visible from the side walk. Dr. H made suggestions on things I might consider having done but without any clear direction.

Dr. Hashmi is a very calm and gentle person. She listens and doesn't appear to be in a rush like so many doctors. I really appreciated that she provided recommendations on lifestyle and diet to prevent disease and didn't immediately start talking about drugs. I felt comfortable with her, which is very important for me in the doctor-patient relationship. The only reason I deducted a star was because I had a very long wait of about 40 min to see the doctor after having my vitals taken (so glad I had a book!). I think it may have been a unique situation though, so I wouldn't say that is routine.

I booked an appointment for an annual physical with this Doctor. During the appointment, I was telling the doctor about some issues I have, she didn't tell me what to do for these issues. However, I was surprised after two months of additional office visit charge for the same appointment I had in September. So, for that appointment, they considered it as an office visit and an annual physical together. Based on my experience, usually doctors check many things during the annual physical, but this doctor didn't check anything. So, I'm not sure why they even charged me for both.
This is unacceptable at all.
I don't recommend this office at all.

Dr. Hashmi is one of the very rare physicians that don't waste her patient's time while looking at her laptop. She gets prepared and ready and spends the time talking to her patient, listening to what they say and understanding then spends time on educating and giving all the options and alternatives.
She has a very good approach to treatment, where she looks for metrics (lab tests or similar) then identifying a treatment then looking back to more metrics to after a while then calibrate treatment etc. always keeping the patient on what they just need! Highly recommended.
