I have been practicing clinically for over 27 years. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Adventist University of the Philippines College of Medicine. I completed my residency in Psychiatry at Columbia University and my Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, including training at Montefiore Medical Center.

My practice consists of treating adolescents and adults with various mental health issues. I have a passion for helping individuals develop a long, meaningful, and productive approach to holistic health. My primary goal as a psychiatrist is to promote the mental health and emotional intelligence of my patients so that they can live happy and productive lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am a proponent of complementing medication treatments with various therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, Positive Psychology and Behavioral Modification. I emphasize naturopathic remedies including diet, exercise, mindfulness, meditation, sleep hygiene reframing through realistic self talk, and use of high-level defense mechanisms.
