Amie Kawashima is a concerned and caring pediatric orthopedic surgeon serving the community of New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Kawashima attended Touro University, Henderson, where she received her medical degree. She then completed her internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia. Dr. Kawashima continued her training by completing her fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.
Dr. Kawashima is a part of Saint Peter’s University Hospital: Pediatric Orthopedic. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the American Osteopathic Association.

I was very happy with the experience. The wait was less than 10 minutes, the receptionist was very kind and courteous. Once inside one of the rooms, we were promptly seen by Doctor Kawashima who was through with her observations and physical tests. She explained things clearly and we were done before we knew it. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful!This is the second fracture my son has, and she is very professional & fun at the same time. My son is a happy boy when he sees her & is very unafraid of getting X-rays & cast. It's like he doesn't realize the pain & he's always ready for his visit. I am glad to have Dr. Amie for my boy! She's awesome sauce! Thank you!
