Amie Kawashima is a concerned and caring pediatric orthopedic surgeon serving the community of New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Kawashima attended Touro University, Henderson, where she received her medical degree. She then completed her internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia. Dr. Kawashima continued her training by completing her fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

Very pleased. Doctor Kawashima was very thorough in her examination, she was very personable. She was professional and made us feel like she had a plan to fix my son’s issue - this was very important to my son as he was very concerned he would not be able to run track in the summer. Happy so far.

Wonderful!This is the second fracture my son has, and she is very professional & fun at the same time. My son is a happy boy when he sees her & is very unafraid of getting X-rays & cast. It's like he doesn't realize the pain & he's always ready for his visit. I am glad to have Dr. Amie for my boy! She's awesome sauce! Thank you!
