Getting to know Aminata Wane
I am Amina, an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse and a member of the American Nurses Association, the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Texas, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. I earned my Master of Science degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2020. I am devoted, compassionate, and diligent, taking great pride in helping those seeking support for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, insomnia, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
With more than nine years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field, I have worked with children, adults, and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am known for my ability to connect with patients and understand their experiences from their perspective. I am well-versed in psychopharmacology and like to follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience and personal observation.

My objective as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Registered Nurse is to increase access to mental health treatment and empower my patients while simultaneously fostering a healing environment where they can achieve their goals and feel their best.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
