Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile to see how you feel about working together. I have worked as a psychiatrist for approximately 15 years and in essentially every setting in the field. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University and completed my Psychiatry residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Remote appointments allow clients to be in a safe space without commuting or traffic. I personalize my visits with you so that we can get the most out of them. I look forward to collaborating with you on how best I may be of help!
Please kindly read below before your visit.
#1: Please be on time. I wait for a significant portion of the appointment time in case we have a late start because I want each person to feel that their time is valued. I appreciate the same in return when someone has reserved an appointment with me, as a missed appointment is time I have lost. If for any reason an appointment is missed, exceptions will not be made. There is a no-show fee.
On my page, you may see some negative reviews submitted by people who missed their appointments and did not want to be responsible for missing their visit, despite knowing in advance that there are no-show fees.
#2: Please prepare your technology and environment ahead of time. Telehealth standards and insurance guidelines indicate that BOTH audio and video must be functional and on during appointments. One negative review was written by someone who started the appointment with no video. Additionally, there was a lot of background noise and heavy breathing, like when one walks around in a busy area; this can compromise confidentiality. I informed them that BOTH audio and video are standard requirements; the person refused and ended the appointment.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I like to tune in greatly to what people tell me in the first session and I take a brief history so that there is a chance for people to share what they feel is most important. If we are not listening to what people who are under our care are telling us, we are simply not doing our job.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Compassion, empathy, curiosity and flexibility in trying to meet people where they are so that they take away from sessions the feeling of personalized and attentive care.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

It was my first session with Dr. F and to be completely honest I am looking forward to many more after.
