Dr. Amir Nicknam is a board-certified Family Practice Physician with over 15 years of experience in the field of occupational medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (FACOEM). Dr. Nicknam offers his patients many years of expertise and brings a unique perspective to each project by combining real-world, academic, and regulatory experience into one unified approach.
Dr. Nicknam earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Family Medicine at both MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland and Jackson Park Hospital. Additionally, he holds a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
In 2010, Dr. Nicknam founded Southern Nevada Occupational Health Center & Family Medicine to provide a variety of services in a caring atmosphere. His practice offers expertise dedicated to the total health and wellness of the industrial workforce, including pre-employment screening, post-offer physicals, and work-related injury care. Dr. Nicknam is also certified to perform disability ratings and independent medical evaluations (CIME) for the Department of Industrial Relations for the state of Nevada.
