Always nice to know and feel really cared for. Thank you for your Help and Ubderstanding
The waiting area was hot and they tried to make me re-fill out all the paperwork I filled out online.
First doctor in 2 years to actually exam me! He reassured me that I did need to be there and started me on a path to health. Did not just try to push pills or blow off my concerns as "life happens". I am very glad I waited it out to be seen. First visit was today, seeing me again in a week. The app took a little longer then 2hrs but he's the only one in town actually examining paitent so, that is worth the wait.
I will never return. Took THREE HOURS WHEN I was early to my appointment time. They lost the stupid appointment of just pretended to, even when I showed them my online submitted paperwork and my confirmation email. Wasted a whole day to see me for three seconds for referrals he said he would give and never gave. I hate this place and I wouldn't wish going here on my worst enemy.
The only doctors in Town, that i have found, that actually listen and figure out the problem.
I was looking for a new primary doctor office, today was my first appointment. I absolutely loved it! The staff was quick and efficient, very polite and caring. The doctor was very professional and sincere. He listened to what was wrong and really helped me with a finding solutions for the issue. I'm very happy.
A very long wait, well over an hour.
My phone does not have E-mail. My wife had to call me from home, to notify me of the last minute appt.-time change. Had she not done that, I would have arrived much earlier than necessary. In the future, it will be much better to call, and at least leave a message, instead of leaving the patient in the dark. Otherwise, it was a pleasant visit.
He's a great doctor, so glad I found him!
In a room over an hour. Bad customer service
Dr. Amir Nickman, MD, MPH, is an excellent doctor. Him and his staff are caring and concerned about their patients health.
Service was a little slow but they did have a few tough customers to deal with a head of me
He was very understanding and professional.. thankful I was able to see him on such short notice!
He was 2 hrs late for my appointment, and then i addressed my concerns with him, and he shot them down instantly, and stated he only wanted to get blood work, and then he would address concerns . As a physician you are suppose to be kind, compassionate, and care about people. He showed no concern , or empathy towards my concerns. Upon my inital visit i am now changing my doctor
First time back in 8 months now 8 months ago they were awesome but today my appointment. Was set for 945 when I went to check in it was 919. Front desk person said she couldn't fine my appointment . And blamed it on the app. But I did show she my phone. So I waited in the waiting room till 1020 then was seen by the dr. Asst. Then waited in the room from 1030 to 1140. Just to see the dr. For less then 10mins then went back to the waiting room where I waited again didn't get out and done with everything tell 1220. Yup longest ever . I hope my next visit is better
Took a little while for me to see him. But after he came. It was fast and easy. Will see him again
Uncertainty regarding test appointments. Unable to reach anyone for following up with me.
It was nice he seemed like he cared about my health
I felt really comfortable with Dr. Nicknam. He took his time and explained everything.
besides the wait time, everything else went smoothly.
Went well, very nice doctor
Wait time with appointment, good dr.
Very friendly, fast and excellent experience. Actually shows concern for patients not like other doctors and explains everything clear.
My first visit with Senior Dimensions assigned Doctor. Doctor Nickman, location and staff where excellent! I made a good choice.
Waited 2 hours in the waiting room even with an appointment. Then waited another 45 minutes in the room before the Doctor came in.
He was a very nice guy who got me my medicine I needed to breath :)
People were very pleasant and the doctor was very attentive to my medical needs would highly recommend this Doctor thank you
He just didn't seem to care. The nurses where very nice but the doctor was not interested in my health at all
He was very nice. Spoke very clear english. And unlike some doctors he was not in a hurry to get done with me.
The visit was very nice. I think Everyone was just getting back from lunch when I got there so it took a minute to get people going. Once it resumed I was in and out in good timing. Nurse at the front was very nice.
I had a good visit with Dr. Amir he checked everything possible to find out the problem. He was actually hands on an not just talking an going off what could be the problem by what i was saying was wrong a true Doctor.
It was great. I needed a follow-up appointment with a pcp after an emergency room visit. I was able to get in on the same day, and I thought the way was going to be long but it wasn't at all. He listened to my concerns and then had orders made for more tests and a follow-up visit. I decided on him because he had good ratings and now I see why. I think I will now keep him as my ongoing pcp.
Doctors are nice. And other staffs are friendly too. My main complain is the long wait. It always take couple hours for me and my wife. Appt is 10am. We always leave around 12 ish.
Clean office ,very friendly& professional, highly recommend .!! A++
Excellent service; clean office, polite and professional manner of Dr.Amir Nicknam and employees who work there in the office.
I actually saw the nurse practitioner
Do not make appointments at 8am when the staff doesn't arrive until 830. My time is valuable so sitting in a waiting room for 45 minutes when I was the first person to check in when they opened for an appointment that literally took less than 10 minutes is not acceptable.
My experience with the Dr. was thorough. He listened and gave precise feedback. Explained procedures he was taking in order to give me a diagnosis. He spoke very professionally but in layman's terms so I could better understand my ailments and possibilities behind their causes. Yes, I'd recommend this entire office experience(including the front desk clerks and nurse/aid) to any new patient such as myself to anyone looking for a great family practice. I'm satisfied with everyone there and parking was easily accessible. Thank you! Marilyn S.
He was very attentive and listened didn't treat me like I'm not a DR and couldn't possably know what I'm talking about
I didnt meet dr nickman but i did have a fast visit
The staff was very pleasant. I signed in with no problems and got to see the Doctor very quickly. Overall this was a great first time visit. Dr Amir is a keeper in my book.
Wished he took more time
My appointment was actually with Doctor Rachel and she was AMAZING. She actually listened to me. Took interest in my issue. She wasn't quick to write prescriptions or give me a half solution. She set a genuine game plan and realistic expectations of what it is going to take to diagnose my issue. I am more then pleased with this visit. I've already recommended several people to her.
For the first time it was bad. Due to the waiting time.
I find him well informed and I like him
I enjoyed it very much! He listened to my problems instead of trying to diagnose me beforehand. He made me feel comfortable during my first Pap. He was very informative and friendly as well. I'm hoping he can help get my health back on track!
He seemed to care and was listening to me. He took his time and had me do a little walking around to access my condition a little better. Liked him, may make him my primary doctor to visit.
He knew right away what was wrong and sent me on my way with my prescription. I like that!
Not. Use to 1. Going to another facility to get an ulrasound. 2. Going to another facility to have blood tests especially when your new to the area and don't know where you are going. 3. Hard to understand the tech when he is talking to you. Bottom line I would like to find a doctor in a medical building where all the tests are done without going to another facility.
I really liked the way his assistant sat there and listened to all my concerns and really showed importance to what I was telling her. Dr. Amir was great as well very attentive to everything.
It was pleasant to know that he actually cared and could see that I was in pain.
I appreciate the efforts to save paper but I didn't like filling out paperwork with a sharpie on a dry erase paper.
I saw someone else in his office and she was great. The front desk guy was great! I have bad anxiety and the people here made the whole experience better and easier for me. Very genuine!!
I really love i.e. the doctor and the office was great
I never saw him/ I saw his PA and she was wonderful
I thank it was good
This was my 1st visit and I was impressed (being in the health care world for over 30 yrs myself it's hard to impress me). He and his staff covered all the bases no stone unturned. He isn't quick to make judgements he likes to take one step at a time in coming to a plan for treatments.
Overall, it was a pleasant visit. It was my first time visiting due to some pains and I was listened too and examined thoroughly. Very nice doctor and staff. Wait time as to be expected anywhere appointment at 2:15pm seen about 2:35 not too bad. Very nice facility would recommended.
This was my first visit and it went well Everyone made me comfortable
Was seen for illness. I was able to be seen earlier and was seen by doctor in a fair amount of time.
It was my first visit with this doctor and I think I will keep him as my primary Doctor. He was very professional, helpful, and answered all of my questions completely.
Just a nice guy who seemed to care.
Nice staff, Dr was friendly and listened. Waiting room was a little cold but I know they are switching offices over the holiday so I am sure that played into it. I think I have found my Primary Care Dr.
Very thourough doctor
I really liked it..very close to my house but the waiting was over an hour
He is ok but charged me for ear irrigation knowing the insurance would not pay so it out of my pocket. It was not really even needed to diagnose my ear infection which I told him what I had since it is the same symptoms last year.
He is the best doctor I've seen/had in years. My son and I both went to see him at same appointment time and I told him some very personal information about my past and he continued on being friendly and professional. He was very understanding and definitely has compassion for what he does for a living.
To long of wait but the doctor did take his time with my visit
He is very thorough.
I have never gone in without and appointment. I have never seen the PAC or the doctor without a very long wait time. Not sure why I go in on time, it's as though my time is not important to them. I've only seen Dr.Nickman once out of 6 appointments. Not happy.
Took way too long to be seen, even though I filled out all the paperwork online, thinking that would help speed up the process. No sir, in fact the girl had me fill out even more. Then I waits
Great doctor, was quick, but thorough. Calming presence and answered all questions in a way that instilled confidence and faith in his treatment. Would definitely recommend.
Dr was very professional he took time to get my history and listen to me. Very good first visit.
I thought he listened well to our needs and helped us with what we needed.
Very nice doctor and staff. Clean office and they got me in at the time of my appointment.
Hate was kind of throwingg interrogations at me. He can't get a referral right. He downed my medication in half without even giving my referral. Thank God I found a new doctor for pain meds. Hez a uncaring doctor
Amazing.. Love him
Very caring and great doctor
They are well organized to attend to patients as quickly as possible and they just don't ask questions but try check one up appropriately.
forgot to call in my med
Great doctor! Really cares..I'M happy I found such a wonderfull doctor.
I personally will not be returning to this office. I had an appointment and 1:30, I was not seen until about 3:15, whats the point in setting an apt if your time is not going to be met? I came here, waited about 2 hours, was speaking to a Physicians Assistant who asked more questions than he could answer. I seen the Dr. Maybe 3 minutes within my 10 minute visit. He said lets do blood work which for some odd reason took 3 weeks to get back. I then go all the way 20miles back down to the office for results and again, waited another 2 hours and was seen for 10 minutes if that, again I only spoke with the PA who could only tell me "Oh, everything came back good" (im looking around, like is that it?) and asked if I had questions that again could barely be answered! He didn't explain to me the test results at all, I cant read results from blood so I think you should go over it with me. I then asked if I could get my results and when I got them NOTHING had numbers, EVERYTHING said pending results????? Ive been to this DR. 3 times and I don't ever recall either PA (because the DR. only basically introduced himself) answering all of my questions or even concerned of my concerns?? I wasted my time and gas. I don't understand how im waiting in the office 2 hours before being seen and only back there for 10 Maybe 15 minutes if the MA got my blood pressure right ! Totally Unsatisfied with this practice.
Very kind and caring. He listens to you and explains everything.
Seems like I'll be stay with this doctor
A mixup with Medicaid, so I waited an hour too see the doctor, not his fault. He spent a short amount of time with me but seemed to know what my problem was. I was prescribed new meds. that have taken away my back pain without getting me high. I would recommend him and his staff.
Very long wait times, in lobby and room. didn't do his job correctly so now I'm seeing a new Dr and starting again.
A little rushed but overall very concerned. Very good doc
Did not accomplish what I needed with out a bunch of testing first.
I waited more than 2 hours for a doctor to tell me what I already knew. Waiting room was so small that people were standing and the staff seemed overwhelmed with their work and mostly unpleasant, when not being indifferent.
This experience was horrible from start to finish. It started with the office staff demanding money because my co pay for the year has been fully paid already and they realized they had nothing to collect. They tried to make me pay the "cash price". I had to call my insurance to get them to back off. It is clear that this office books as many people as close together as possible to have as many billable codes in a day as they can squeeze. I waited for over an hour after my appointment time, when I got into the room I waited another half hour before the doc even came by. I called a day after my appointment to ask a question, nobody returned my call. I called the following day and asked to talk to the doc, he never called me back. I called a week later and demanded to talk to him, they made me come in, where they booked me as an appointment and asked me to pay cash to speak with him... I waited for over an hour again... While I was waiting I saw another patient have the same billing issues I had. Stay away..
Dr. Nicknam is great. He really cares about his patients. The wait was too long because zocdoc.com did not get the appointment to there system. They did not have me down in the system. I am upset with zocdoc.com. I had to leave after waiting two hours. The admins at the front desk have no personality. No one welcomes you in or ask you any medical questions pertaining to why you are there. There is no multitasking. I had to wait 15 minutes before i could sign any new patient forms. They need to be trained properly and work on customer service. The aids, nurses, and pas are awesome. Overall good medical staff.
Absolutely love him.
It was one of my best visits to a Dr. IT was quick but he listened and wants to start blood work and other testes that are needed.
Waited 1.5 hrs...
hE LISTEN TO WHAT i HAD TO SAY HE ASKED ALL THE QUESTIONS I DIDN'T THINK OF. OVERALL I WAS PLEASED. EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE WAS VERY NICE. MY WORST COMPLAINT NO SHADE IN THE PARKING LOT... I'LL LIVE.
GREAT!! He will be my primary care doctor Always
I felt very comfortable with the Dr and the staff. Thank you.
I liked everything about the experience!
I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE THERE!
Very thorough, professional and competent, Dr. Nicknam exceeded my expectations. I was disappointed that the wait time was so long (but it was late in the day, which may explain that), and that the information I completed online was not available and I had to fill out the forms again. However, the actual health care provided more than made up for it. The doctor and his medical assistant were very capable, and they both spent time explaining test results, etc. They treated me with respect, and are very caring health care professionals. I recommend Dr. Nicknam without reservation.
Very Professional and caring. The examination was very thorough and everyone was very nice.
I found Dr. Nicknam to be very professional and seemed to really care. He is the first doctor that has really taken the time to listen and talk to me about what is going on.
