About Amit Patel
Amit Patel is a board-certified Dermatology Physician Associate with extensive experience in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. During his undergraduate studies, Amit developed a passion for dermatology through his work at the University of Arizona Skin Cancer Institute, where he supported research and led community outreach efforts focused on skin cancer prevention and care in under-served populations. He later earned a Master of Science in the Science of Healthcare Delivery from Arizona State University, where he studied how to optimize healthcare systems and improve patient outcomes through innovative, systems-based approaches. Amit went on to complete his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice at the Boston University School of Medicine. Amit takes a patient-centered approach to dermatologic care, emphasizing education, compassion, and individualized treatment plans. He is dedicated to building long-term relationships with his patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident skin using evidence-based medicine and procedural skill. Outside of the clinic, Amit enjoys surfing, espresso culture, and spending time with his family, friends, and goldendoodle.

Bad location in Los Angeles. If you book an appointment give yourself a 30 minute buffer. Was 10 minutes late because of gridlock traffic and my appointment was cancelled after driving an hour to get there. Receptionist was nice.

Amit is seriously the nicest human and makes you feel so comfortable. I’ve gotten Botox from him a few times and he really listens to you regarding what look you’re going for and explains everything he is going to do before he does it. He has great bedside manner, professional and is very knowledgeable of all the facial muscles. He takes his time and follows up two weeks later to see if you are happy with the results. Highly recommend him.

I started seeing Amit Patel because I was struggling with perioral dermatitis on my chin area. He put me on antibiotics and a couple topical creams and it has now fully disappeared. Amit is very friendly and has great bedside manners. He is always happy to answer all of my questions and explains things in a clear and understandable way. He is the best!
