About Dr. Amit Sharma

Dr. Amit Sharma is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group. He specializes in surgical and medical dermatology with a strong focus on the detection, treatment and prevention of skin cancer. Dr. Sharma performs surgical procedures including the removal of skin cancers, cysts and other growths. He also treats a broad range of dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and hair loss. Dr. Sharma is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and ensures patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey. He completed his dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus in Miami, Florida, where he served as chief resident. In his final year, he was honored with the Award of Excellence by the Foundation for Osteopathic Dermatology. Dr. Sharma is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has contributed to several publications in medical dermatology journals. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, fitness and playing and watching sports.
