Amie Gaskin is a board-certified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who joined Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals in the Stockbridge Therapy Services office in June 2018. She earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Savannah State University. Ms. Gaskin specializes in working with couples, adolescents, and adults ages 15-55. Her areas of treatment include family and couples therapy, stress management, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and adolescents with behavior challenges. She has also worked with families and juveniles through the court system for four years in DeKalb County to prevent and interrupt criminological behaviors that lead to long-term detainment. Ms. Gaskin takes a collaborative approach with providers and resources to ensure successful changes for her clients. Her treatment approach includes, but is not limited to, modalities such as CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused therapy, Mindfulness, and many more.
