His residency training in Internal Medicine was completed at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. He went on to receive his training in Gastroenterology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Gotian is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the sub-specialty Boards of Gastroenterology. He is the author of several publications in peer-reviewed gastroenterology journals and has presented numerous times at national scientific meetings. Dr. Gotian is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and serves on staff as an attending physician in the division of gastroenterology of Montefiore Medical Center. As an active member in American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), he has served on the National Patient Care Committee. Dr. Gotian has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). Fellowship is a mark or distinction and is only awarded to special group of doctors who are dedicated to continuing education in medical practice, teaching, or research. It recognizes ongoing individual service and contributions to the practice of medicine.
