Amrita Rampertaap, NP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner working in our offices in Tysons and Fairfax. She earned her Master’s in Family Nursing from Herzing University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Towson University. Prior to joining Virginia Family Medicine, Amrita gained valuable experience working in the Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

The overall experience was positive, but didn't see the NP until almost 20 minutes past the appointment time. Maybe this is the norm now, but I've never waited more than a few minutes with other doctors offices/companies when conducting an online appointment/interview. There was also no explanation or apology for the wait time. Perhaps I'm old school, but this is just common curtesy/respect, especially as a native to this area.

NP Amrita Rampertaap joined my virtual visit promptly at the appointment time. She introduced herself and her role and asked me how she could help me. She listened attentively as I explained my concerns. She asked some clarifying questions and gave me some options to choose from. She allowed me to have an opinion and say in my treatment and made a follow-up plan with me before we disconnected. The appointment was efficient and easy. Connecting to the virtual appointment was seamless. I'm very pleased with my experience and will not hesitate to schedule another appointment with her in the future.
