Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
MO
Reaching out for mental health care should feel safe, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard and supported. Thoughtful psychiatric care looks beyond symptoms and considers the whole person: your experiences, stressors, strengths, relationships, and goals. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Missouri native, educated at the University of Missouri–Columbia. I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry across the lifespan for wide range of needs. My background as a nurse in Pediatrics and Neurology continues to shape my holistic, developmentally informed approach. I have special interest in women’s mental health, children and adolescents, and the unique challenges faced by military members and their families. Life transitions — whether related to parenting, hormonal changes, service-related stress, or developmental stages — can deeply affect mental well-being, and I approach these concerns with care and respect. My approach blends evidence-based medication management with non-medication strategies when appropriate. I believe education is empowering — you deserve to understand your diagnosis, your options, and the reasoning behind recommendations. Treatment works best as a partnership centered on your goals. During our first session, we’ll explore your history, current challenges, and what you hope will change. I ask thoughtful questions and move at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is for you to leave with clarity about next steps and confidence in the plan we create together. Care is provided via telehealth with flexible scheduling. Established patients can typically expect responses within 24 hours, and urgent concerns can often be addressed the same day. You don’t have to navigate this alone. If you’re looking for a warm, collaborative provider who is genuinely invested in your stability and growth, I would be honored to work with you.
